Frequently Asked Questions

Turnaround times will vary based on what you order.  We have 4 categories of products; 

⭐ INVENTORY items:  these items are IN STOCK and usually arrive within 2 weeks.  Inventory items are dented the this green box ❎.

⭐ WILDBIRD & NATURE products usually arrive within 3 weeks. 

⭐ COOLER CAT SHELTERS generally arrive within 4 weeks.  

⭐ WOOD CAT SHELTERS, feeders, platforms, and other large wooden items have a 4-6 week turnaround. 

Regardless of what you order, we always strive to get items there sooner versus later. However, these lead times are fairly accurate.  When an order gets placed, it is entered into the next available workshop opening.  Once a day fills, we start entering into the next day, then week, etc.  This is what determines the length of our turnaround time.  We work on orders in the order that they're received.  Therefore, it's always best to order sooner rather than later so that your order is in the queue. We offer Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Personal Checks.  If you wanted to pay in installments, we suggest using PayPal as they have a very friendly customer-oriented payment process.

All our houses have the options of either an ESCAPE DOOR or a SECOND ENTRANCE. 

An ESCAPE DOOR is a one-way, exit only door.  If the cat is inside and needs to flee because something is coming through the main entrance, then the escape door is there for them to use.  Escape doors are usually located on the side that is farthest from the entrance.  Most escape doors are on the side versus the back.  The escape door is designed, in such a way, that a predator cannot enter through it from the outside.  Sometimes, that is the risk one takes if they have a second entrance. 

 A SECOND ENTRANCE is also available on our houses.  For larger housing that serve multiple cats, customers sometimes want the cats to be able to access the house from different areas.  Many do not have predator concerns and get the second entrance for the purpose of a second entry point.  Sometimes customers will insert a divider down the middle of a larger house and divide it into two sections.  A second entrance would be needed for this purpose.

Facilities at The Ark Workshop, Inc. include observation towers, walking trails, informational signage, and picnic areas. There are also visitor centers with educational exhibits, restrooms, and gift shops for your convenience.
