Return and Refund Policy

 NO CANCELLATIONS:  Due to the limited number of order openings each year, we can only work on a certain number of projects.  Therefore, when an order gets placed, a customer has reserved that specific shop time over another potential customer.  Our turnaround time is dictated by the number of projects we have scheduled.  Sometimes, customers do not want to wait for the turnaround time and forgo ordering.  Therefore, each workshop time slot is very valuable and must be fulfilled and completed.  When a customer orders, they are reserving that shop time for us to complete their project.  Once an order is placed, materials are purchased immediately so that we can start the project right away.   At that point, there has been much administrative TIME (emails, phone calls, etc.) that has also been invested into each order.   Therefore, office time, workshop time, and material costs have already been committed to each order.   

Most of the items we make are customized which means that customers have selected certain options for their house and want us to tailor it to their particular needs.   It is also, for that reason, that there are no cancellations.  A customized project cannot simply be returned to inventory.  To resell the item, we would have to rely on another customer to order the same, exact customizations.   Therefore, no cancellations are accepted.    Here are some ideas that might be helpful for this situation:  A customer can resell their item on selling platforms like eBay, Etsy, or Craigslist.  Since everything is all boxed up, all you would need to do is create a listing on one of these sites, price items appropriately, and then attach shipping labels to the already boxed product.  We would be happy to assist you with that and provide product pictures and listing details.  Another idea is that you could give the item as a gift to friends or family.   Another thought is to, perhaps, store the item away for use later.  With our always increasing materials costs,  items sold today will be at their lowest price now than they would be in a year from now.  A final option would be to donate the item to a local pet agency as a charitable tax deduction. 

Having been in business for 30+ years, it has always been important to us to provide quality service and products to all our customers.  We always want to treat each patron with the respect and courtesy they deserve.  Likewise, we hope that customers feel the same way toward their interactions with us and are understanding of the formalities involved when doing custom work.  Thank you.
